DDRC is a specialist in the education sector with dedicated account managers working
closely with customers from areas diverse as Nurseries all the way up to Universities.
We have supplied small parts to complete roll outs of new equipment and have helped
with installations and consultation along the way. Working closely with Educational
ICT buyers and staff from schools, colleges and Local Education Authorities (LEAs)
we strive to provide the best solutions for our customers at the best possible price.
Our ICT engineers are always on hand to help you decide and implement (where necessay)
on your chosen technology. Our technicians are Microsoft Certified Professionals
so can also help roll out new software or migration from one platform to another.
We provide a wide range of equipment from all the main manufacturers, such as; HP,
IBM, Acer, Fujitsu Siemens, NEC, Epson, Hitachi and Panasonic and the more specialist
education suppliers such as; Smart, Polyvision and Promethean. With Microsoft’s
Software Licensing programmes we can also provide you with software at affordable
prices, predominantly under the ‘Schools Agreement’. We can also install and cable
the equipment so you don’t have to!
We also provide an asset disposal service to the Education authorities, collecting
and recycling redundant ICT assets for our clients. All equipment collected by ourselves
and identified for resale is data wiped to the highest standards (or destroyed if
required) maintaining confidentiality for your staff and pupils and conformance
to governmental rules on data protection. DDRC is committed to the WEEE directive
on environmental disposal of ICT equipment and is a member of ICER (Industry Council
for Electronic Equipment Recycling).
Finally DDRC offers flexible payment plans and options for its customers ranging
from rentals to leasing on nearly all equipment (non ICT assets included – please
ask for more details). Leases can be spread over 6 months to 5 years and can be
extended and amended as necessary to suit your needs.
With our interactive and audio visual products installation includes all work, materials,
cables, conduits, ceiling mounts (for projectors), wall mounts (for white boards),
wall mounted VGA sockets with computer feed, video feed and audio feed. All the
installation teams we use for our products are local and fully NICEIC qualified
(National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) which, as
you probably know, is a requirement for any educational installation.
