At DDRC we are here to help you with the disposal of your redundant IT equipment through the retrieving, recycling, and re-marketing of your information technology assets. As a company we are committed to the UK &
EU waste disposal directives (WEEE) which makes it mandatory for all companies (and individuals) with IT equipment to dispose of it through regulated channels. DDRC is an
ICER associate member and as such is licensed to dispose of your equipment. If your equipment still has significant value DDRC can offer cash back as part of the disposal. In other words, we can give you money for assets that are no longer used! In other cases, we will act in partnership whereby both parties will share in the proceeds raised from the resale of the equipment.
Many of you will have certain reservations about disposing of equipment that potentially contains sensitive and valuable information, which is why we offer a complete data wiping procedure to all our customers. Simply formatting the drive will not be enough to safeguard that information which is why our hard drive wiping service includes Department of Defence level secure wiping of the entire disk surface. Our data deletion & elimination service meets and exceeds current standards for the permanent erasure of digital information and uses techniques that stop both software and hardware recovery tools from restoring the erased data.
We provide services to clients both in the UK, and in Western Europe. DDRC can arrange collection, de-installation and removal of equipment from most sites across the UK and EU. All products are returned to DDRC's processing facilities to be processed. Equipment can also be de-installed and unplugged from site by our engineers if necessary and we can also back up your data prior to de-installation. Collection arrangements are made at your convenience with minimum disruption to your organisation.
